Avianca is the official airline of the II Review Conference of the Mine Ban Convention
The first airline founded in America , it is part of the Synergy Aerospace Group, together with Brazilian airline Ocean Air and Ecuadorian Vip S.A. With over six thousand direct collaborators and modern fleet of short, medium and long reach airplanes, Avianca operates directly to 21 destinations in Colombia and 22 points in America and Europe. Exclusive discounts
Through an area specialized in transportation of large groups of travellers to the most important events, Avianca offers exclusive discounts to delegates and other participants of the “Catagena Summit on a mine‐free world”:
- For domestic flights within Colombia: between 10% and 20% according to the rate used.
- For international flights: between 5% and 15 % according to the rate used.
In order to apply for this discount you only need to go to any of Avianca’s direct points of sale in Colombia or abroad, or to any tra vel agency (only in Colombia) and show a copy of the invitation letter to the event.

Land Transportation
All participants of the Cartagena Summit on a Mine-free World will have the following transportation services:
- Reception at the Airports in Bogotá and Cargena
- Transportation from the Airport to the hotel on arrival, and from the Hotel to the Airport when leaving Cartagena
- Transportation from the Hotels to the Convention Centre in the morning and from the Convention Centre to the Hotels in the afternoon after sessions are over.
- Transportation from the Hotels or the Convention Centre to Social Events and back to the Hotels in the evening
- Conference support crew in hotels
